Rip off …
So I signed up for this and was excited to access the 1921 census. What really made me give such a low score was the fact that I then had to pay if I wanted to see the transcript. Quite expensive at 2.50 and 3.50. I will not be back.

I have resubscribed to review my research that I did a few years ago. Unfortunately the chart that I had constructed was no longer there. However I was able to upload a Gedcom and get things going again without having the retype all the information

Some great features …
To get the best and most complete ancestor information it is not possible to be subscribe to only one platform, as they each offer different benefits. There are some great features on FMP which make it worth paying the extra. These include access to newspaper archives, mother’s maiden name on many 19th century birth records and of course, the 1921 census. I resent having to pay per view with the latter, especially when there are transcription errors leading you to purchase the wrong records.

Excellent research tool
Excellent research tool. There are issues with some pages where there are no 'return' links which means having to search a tree again to return.
Too convoluted
Too convoluted, too much repetition of adding info to search
Disappointing
I took the free trial out of curiosity but will not be continuing. The Ancestry website is far more user friendly with more records and less expensive.
A swindle
A rip off - you can’t access the 1921 without paying up separately. A pure swindle. I’m going back to Ancestry.
Very helpful site

Interested in the role/stories of the indentured workers from India in the Central area (Couva). Also about Hindu temples in Trinidad. Not much found.

A very useful site.
This site is extremely useful but I found it can prove a bit difficult investigating deeper into sub-categories such as the military records. However, it does have the 1921 Census which turned up a very exciting conundrum for me, hence the 5 star rating.

Cancelled subscription and renewed later with a small discount. FMP could improve if a subscription incorporated frr access to 1921 census.

Disappointed
I have been a member of Ancestry.co.uk for several years, I only joined Findmypast to look at the 1921 census. In my opinion Findmypast is not at all user friendly and is very inferior to Ancestry
UPDATE
A somewhat patronising reply from Findmypast, ( it looks like a standard reply). I have been carrying out family history research for the past two decades and certainly don't need their help. I was just reviewing their site and find it inferior to others available
